An Afternoon Over The Fence

A lil something simple

to keep your  mid-day minimal

I found a few stamps in the parking lot

petals on sheet

of surrender

ready to  send things sweet

& supernatural

I’m catching the surpassing

in the thickets that seem EVERLASTING

& I’m Susceptible to sympathy

& I’ll take it with a moments glee

in between some peaches & a cherry tree

an afternoon over the past-tense

and present fence.
